We are all beings of light, and the only way to unleash our superpowers is by truly loving ourselves.

"How do you truly love yourself?" you may ask. Ahhh, that's the million-dollar question, and it's very personal. Thankfully, it's something we all seek and can achieve.

How do you achieve it? By working on your self-esteem every day. How do you work on your self-esteem? By having a positive perspective and living in the present. If you dwell on the past, you'll live in sadness or depression, and if you constantly worry about the future, you'll be anxious.

It's not that you shouldn't think about the past or worry about the future, but if you spend too much time in that mental state, you'll never be able to enjoy the present. Life is about the present, a gift, and it's all about living it to the fullest.

Each person is unique, with different personalities, expectations, and experiences. The important thing is to recognize what is important to you and achieve that state of happiness consistently.

There are many ways to find your happiness, and that is a very personal answer. What I can tell you is that each and every one of us goes through the same stages of growth and personal development, albeit with different experiences.

What is happiness for me may be very different from what it is for you, and it all depends on your culture, gender, education, religion, place of growth, and family.

I am still searching for the answers to my basic questions, but thanks to my curiosity and desire to live my life to the fullest, I have been able to work on my insecurities, leaving behind my fears, and have a clearer direction in life.

How did I achieve this? By understanding how I personally react to problems, analyzing my reactions to certain situations, and realizing that everything that happens in my life is a consequence of my actions.

Everything that happens in my life has been a result of my past and present decisions, and my future depends on what I decide in these moments.

If you don't like the life you're living, change it. And how do you change it? By starting with yourself.

Without love, there is nothing, and we all know that. The problem is recognizing it and practicing it, especially towards ourselves. If you don't love yourself, it will be impossible to love another person or achieve our goals and purposes in life.

Thanks to my tenacity and the education my parents provided me, I was able to become an independent woman in terms of my career. I am a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with over 10 years of experience, however, I lack self-love.

What do I mean by that? I doubt myself a lot. I am always questioning whether I am worthy as a woman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, coworker and friend, unfortunately I tend to put myself down.

When I became a mother to my beautiful daughter Valentina, I understood that I had to change my life first in order to provide her with the education and tools she needs, so that she doesn't undervalue herself as a woman, and she can live with self-assurance, feeling capable of achieving anything she wants.

I don't want my daughter to feel the same way I felt. Therefore, I started searching for tools to heal my wounds, boost my self-esteem, understand the value of life, why we are here, and what my mission is as a mother, woman, wife, and individual on this planet Earth.

I discovered that I have a lot more to learn, but throughout my journey, I realized that many women are going through the same things I did, and I felt compelled to do something about it.

I began educating myself independently in my spirituality, self-discovery, meditating and improving my self-esteem in all aspects of my life (career, family, personal, and spiritual). During this quest for personal growth, I understood that I need to be an advocate for women and individuals who are on the same path.

That's how it all began, the Journey of Yourself, the search for the truths of life, how to connect with God and my spirituality, and learning to love myself, so I can give from what I have and not from what I lack.

Here you will find information, tools, exercises, questionnaires, and education that helped me find myself and value myself as a woman and as a person. I hope my advice can help you find your truth, who you are, and what you want for yourself and your future.

I hope that my years of research for what it means to be alive, have good self-esteem, self acceptance, connectivity with your spirituality, and how to love in all senses can help you find your truth and what you are searching for—your own happiness and that of your loved ones. Once you are happy, you will become an instrument for others, and love will grow around you, bringing the desired happiness in return.

The search for truth never ends, nor does self-discovery. Each stage of your life is different, and in each stage, you will need different strategies to achieve what you seek. Try not to close yourself off to different options or versions of what truth is. Live life with an open mind, and you will see how doors will open for you.

Life is a constant discovery of the Self, with its ups and downs. Nothing is set in stone; only you have the power to write your own story. The important thing is to learn to coexist with moods and situations that life brings us, and to cope with them in the best possible way, while never losing hope.

I hope that we embark on this journey of life together, getting to know ourselves better, helping each other, and spreading love and inspiration to everyone around us. Remember to be a light in the darkness, may your light be eternal and illuminate all those around you, making this world a better place for you and the future.

Yours Truly,

Dr. Katherine Iguina
